AS A THERAPY COORDINATOR, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing therapeutic programming and services to an assigned population. The Lead Therapist is responsible for working under the direction of the Therapist II to provide therapeutic services such as individual, group, and family sessions as well as coordination of care for patients who are discharging from acute care and transitioning to Outpatient. The Lead Therapist I role provides
direction and guidance to inpatient staff on the implementation of trauma-informed care practices and optimizing patient engagement in treatment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or another related field required.
- 3 years of inpatient psychiatric acute care experience required. 3 years of experience in managing milieu environment
- Experience in providing therapeutic dosing per NMT guidelines.
- Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics, Level 1 training preferred, Level 1 obtained within 1 year.
- Ability to provide education and direction to staff.
- Ability to consistently demonstrate trauma-informed and patient centered care.
