The Operations Analyst is responsible for the project management of several competing business initiatives across the Continuous Improvement Department. They will be the day-to-day operational liaison with wider business stakeholders (both PI and PNG alike) for all items as they relate to sportsbook and platform testing, operational competitive research, continuous improvement, and incident management.
Your daily responsibilities include:
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Collaborates with internal team members across several business functions including Operations, Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
- Prepare, and submit Business Requirement Documents (BRD) to Senior Analyst for review and approval as it relates to platform changes and improvements.
- Lead weekly operational meetings with platform provider and hold each party accountable as it relates to change request deliverables.
- Point of escalation for additional review on any potential bug findings from Player Experience Department and work with other PI Departmental stakeholders to explain the issue accurately and succinctly.
- Review complaints that come in from Corporate counterparts and broker the right conversations with the right operational team members to ensure a speedy and accurate answer.
- Conducts regular competitor analysis and maintain marketplace awareness within online sports betting and iCasino markets.
- Anticipates and identifies issues that may negatively impact business and develop/implement operations-based solutions.
- Primary operational team members responsible for testing new features in app, including but not limited to payment options, new bet types, state regulatory items, etc.
- Optimize and standardize existing processes and workflows through quality assurance audits to improve operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
- Provide KPI reporting on new state launches and effectively communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

- Experience in digital or e-commerce related field/business

- Must be able to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities while ensuring successful completion of all items
- Effective verbal and written communication skills required
- Proven ability to succinctly review, report and present any operational discoveries there may be including campaign abuse, customer complaints, anti-fraud, and the performance of sportsbook campaigns and markets
- Ability to meet deadlines and to work under the pressure of short time constraints
- Must have technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Experience with a variety Customer Support tools including Zendesk
- Must have a passion for sports and/or online gambling
- Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.

Location/Work Hours
The primary office location for this position will be located in Cherry Hill, NJ.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
