Every Other Weekend | Sat / Sun, 8 AM - 4:30 PM one holiday
Summary:
Scans medical record documents using high and low speed scanners.
Scans and replace documents that have been signed by the physician or notations written.
Maintains the medical record batches in a neat and orderly manner.
Ensure information is placed in the patient record to facilitate chart completion and to provide the patient total history when the record is requested for review.
Reconciles patient records received prior to scanning to ensure all information is available to scan.

Summary:
- Assists in providing the continuity and operational effectiveness of the Document Imaging System (DIS) by the scanning patient records/reports and monitoring quality of document images.
- Performs a variety of electronic record management functions to assure timely access of records by clinical providers and other hospital staff members.
Scans medical record documents using high and low speed scanners.
Scans and replace documents that have been signed by the physician or notations written.
Maintains the medical record batches in a neat and orderly manner.
Ensure information is placed in the patient record to facilitate chart completion and to provide the patient total history when the record is requested for review.

Credentials:
- Registered Health Information Technician
- H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
- Education Specialization: Equivalent Experience:
- Associate of Arts or Science
- Education Specialization: Equivalent Experience:
- And 3 years Experience in a hospital’s HIM Department
