About the Opportunity
Penn Technical Staffing is collaborating with a well-established engineering firm specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC & Fire Protection systems to find an experienced Electrical Engineer. This role involves designing power, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage communications systems for commercial and industrial facilities.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in designing lighting and power systems for various building types. They will also support office locations throughout the northeast and mid-Atlantic regions.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for commercial and industrial facilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Develop and implement electrical system designs that meet client requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- At least 6 years of experience in electrical building design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit preferred
- Experience with project types such as education, civic/government, financial services, retail, office, interior renovation, high tech/R&D, mission critical/data centers, and healthcare
- US Driver's license required
