The Penn-Trafford School District is accepting applications for a Director of Buildings and Grounds. This Administrator oversees all aspects of the Buildings and Grounds Department, including the maintenance/repair and cleanliness of District buildings and grounds in compliance with state and federal regulations, guidelines and requirements. Supervise, coordinate and inspect the work of building maintenance, grounds crew and custodial staff. Manage special projects and renovation services, procure required resources and prepare Department budget. Shall provide hands-on assistance to maintenance, grounds crew and custodial staff.
Terms of Employment
Full time, 12-month position. Work schedule and other conditions of employment in accordance with Act 93 Administrative Agreement.
Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 yr.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in facilities management preferred but not required.
- Possess or the ability to obtain PA Dept. of Agriculture Certification 23 Park/School Pesticide and Certification 24 Swimming Pools.
- A minimum of five (5) years of successful supervisory experience in an organization or unit responsible for technical, multi-craft maintenance, or construction projects is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience and competence in employee management, electrical systems, plumbing systems, HVAC systems, water treatment, roof maintenance, temperature controls, communication systems, security systems, building cleaning, scheduling, construction supervision, specification writing, blueprint reading and purchasing.
- Demonstrated experience in computer applications Microsoft Office, CAD and HVAC systems control.
REPORTS TO: Business Manager/Superintendent
SUPERVISES: Custodian Supervisor, Grounds Crew and Maintenance Staff.
