Summary
Tends one or more machine tools, special purpose machines, or industrial Cobots to machine metal workpieces to specifications on production basis by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervise and manage Cobots on a daily basis to improve line uptime.
Evaluate the efficiency and reliability of industrial Cobot systems, and work with engineering for reprogramming or calibrating to achieve maximum quantity and quality.
Restart Cobots as needed from full inventory conditions and short cycle stops.
Perform routine PMs on all equipment as scheduled.
Trouble shoot and repair Cobots and other equipment to keep production line moving.
Work with engineers and quality associates to ensure the end product meets customer standards.
Work with engineering to install, program, troubleshoot and repair automated Cobots and other automated equipment.
Inspect product to ensure all quality specifications are met.
Make sure all safety procedures, regulations and all company policies are followed in accordance with state and federal law.
Assist implementing Zira work system tablets with engineering to ensure all production metrics are accurately recorded.

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 3 months related experience; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Mechanical aptitude
Basic Cobot knowledge
Ability to read drawings
Basic math and computer skills
Roll mill working knowledge a plus
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals,technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
