- Typically, an 8-hour shift, shift times may vary while working on special projects.

HR Responsibilities
- Oversee full cycle recruiting: screens candidates and facilitates interview and hiring process, recommend best practices for recruitment /retention.
- Manages onboarding: process of new hires, including conducting orientation sessions, processing new hire paperwork, conduct reference checks. and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Develops strong working relationships with facility managers.
- Coach and guide managers and supervisors on employee relations issues.
- Must be able to work with highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Processes unemployment insurance claims. Gathers and submits information related to claims and responds to inquiries, ensuring timely and proper filing of documents.
- Supports Leave of Absence and Workers Comp programs.
- Culture Champion: Partner with facility leadership to develop strategies for workplace culture, plan and implement employee engagement.
- Project Management: Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring HR projects ensuring alignment with facility goals with effective communication.
- Creates and maintains electronic employee files and assures all files are complete per state requirements.
- Maintain strict confidentiality while addressing employee relations concerns.
- Update management of changes to employment laws, and employer postings.
- Process and close semi-monthly payroll ensuring accuracy.
- Support performance reviews, provide feedback.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- 2-3 years of HR, and Payroll experience
- Experience in a nursing home/healthcare setting preferred!
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to work well independently AND collaboratively as part of the interdisciplinary team. While demonstrating self-initiative and follow-through
- Must be a critical thinker with a passion for and commitment to learning and advancing your skill set, knowledge and experience.
- Must have a customer service approach, be team oriented, work well with all levels of employees and thrive in a fast-paced changing environment.
- Must have a strong attention to detail and be organized, flexible and dependable.
- Strong proficiency required in Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
- Workday: 1 year
- Must be able to run ad hoc reports.
- Complete other HR duties as assigned.
