INFORMATION: THIS POSITION IS PAID AT THE HOURLY RATE OF
$39.00 TO WORK UP TO 40 HRS. BETWEEN
JULY 1, 2025, TO JULY 25, 2025.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Design and program lighting cues that enhance the mood and storytelling of the production. Set up and operate lighting equipment, including spotlights, LED fixtures, and special effects. Adjust lighting as needed during rehearsals and performances. Maintain and troubleshoot lighting equipment, ensuring all components are functioning properly. Set up and manage microphones, speakers, and mixing consoles. Balance and adjust sound levels for dialogue, music, and effects during performances. Operate sound cues during live shows, ensuring clarity and consistency. Troubleshoot and resolve any sound-related technical issues. Work closely with the director, stage manager, and performers to meet production needs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear and sometimes walk and sit. The employee is directly responsible for the safety, well-being, and work output of students.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as reading handwritten or typed material, and the ability to adjust focus. The position requires the individual to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff. Subject to indoor work environment the majority of the time. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
