***This position includes a $1,000 signing bonus*** We are looking for a Community Outreach Specialist to coordinate, build, and grow positive relations with area agencies, community partners, practitioners, institutions and funders. The Community Relations Specialist will also support the agency in marketing and social media efforts.
Penndel Mental Health Center is a non-profit community based mental health agency located in Langhorne. We are seeking candidates to join our team of professionals who are passionate about working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness, intellectual disability, or drug and alcohol addiction. Responsibilities:
- Attend events to increase PMHC's visibility in the community and spearhead PMHC employee participation in events
- Build and grow relationships with other agencies, practitioners and funders
- Be the point of contact for outside agencies
- Collaborate with all management teams to discuss ability to handle new referrals and expedite services
- Outreach to schools and other agencies to promote PMHC as a resource
- Assist in the development and promotion of new initiatives
Required Skills:
- In depth knowledge of mental Health and related services in the area
- Advanced working knowledge of social media
- Highly developed networking and customer relations skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think strategically about our business and further our developmental goals
- Passionate about population we serve
Salary : $50,000 - $58,000
