What are the responsibilities and job description for the SENIOR CIVIL DESIGNER position at Pennoni?
Pennoni is hiring! In particular, we are looking for a Senior Designer to join our team on a full-time, direct basis at our Lehigh Valley office in Bethlehem, PA. This person will be expected to contribute primarily to our Site / Civil projects by performing critical design & drafting functions.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Perform CAD Drafting with AutoDesk Civil 3D while utilizing survey field data.
- Prepare Site / Civil drawings including grading, utility, and SWM / E&S plans.
- Prepare various forms of site / civil details & exhibits.
- Provide office support; this includes performing area, slope, and volume computations.
- Ensure scheduling and productivity objectives are achieved.
- Perform field work on an as-needed basis; this includes observing construction and assisting Surveyors.
- Provide mentorship to other staff members.
- Additional duties may be assigned, as needed.
Basic Requirements :
This person may be expected to work in the field, as-needed, so they will be required to possess a Valid Driver's License.
