Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and organized individual to fill our 12-Month Secretary position. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our school district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of clerical procedures requiring independent judgment and action
- Make announcements on the building intercom as directed
- Maintain student Honor Roll and emergency calling list
- Prepare and distribute end-of-year student awards
- Assist substitutes and perform other office-related tasks as assigned by the building principal
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary training in secretarial procedures preferred
- Good typing and data entry skills; operational knowledge of computer hardware and software
- Excellent communication and personnel skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
