Pennswood Village, a nationally respected senior care community located in beautiful Bucks County, PA is seeking a Full Time Activities Associate to work with residents in our personal care unit.
$16/hr.
Job Summary:
- Assists in planning, organizing and implementing a program of activities that meet the individual needs, capabilities and preferences of residents.
- Assures the continuity of programming in the absence of the Activities Manager.
- Assists in coordinating the activity program with all other departments and integrating the activities with the total community.
- Completes the following: assists/conducts activities, transports residents requiring assistance, activity room preparation, assures a safe physical environment in the activity room, conducts room visits, provides direction and support to resident volunteers, and participates in intergenerational activities.
- Maintains and ensures the personal rights of all residents through knowledge of and advocacy of the Residents Bill of Rights.
- Assists with requisition and purchase of supplies, equipment and materials and maintains inventory control.
- Performs other duties as assigned
