Perform groundskeeping tasks under the supervision of the Supervisor.
The schedule for the position is as follows
Monday and Tuesday: 6:00 am to 3:00 pm with a half-hour lunch break Wednesday: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with a half-hour lunch break
The total weekly hours for the position are 25.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Plant, water, fertilize, and weed annual, biannual, and perennial flower bed areas. Mulch and maintain all plantings each year. Water and fertilize plants and trees; and perform other routine horticulture duties. Perform general cleaning, repair and construction of growing areas. Provide necessary winter protection for the plantings. Operate push mower and weed eater Pressure wash and clean grounds equipment and trucks. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Pick up trash on a daily basis

Qualifications
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent. Required
- Practical work experience in landscaping and groundskeeping operations. Preferred
- Proven work record performing duties listed above. Preferred
- Demonstrated experience as a backhoe/skid steer operator. Preferred
- Ability to read, write and interpret instructions. Required
- Possession of a valid driver's license. Required

- Lifting 65 lbs. maximum, without assistance, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects up to 50 lbs.
- Work in extreme weather and temperature conditions.
