Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients using diagnostic and prognostic assessments.
- Develop tailored physical therapy programs that include exercises and therapeutic procedures.
- Provide guidance and supervision in exercises and functional training for patients.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care and achievement of treatment goals.
- Participate in training sessions for medical and nursing personnel in physical therapy techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation to support medical necessity.
- Uphold established safety, quality management, and infection control standards.
- Mentor and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Rehabilitation Aides as per PA practice regulations.
- Proficient in evaluating patients through diagnostic tests and assessments.
- Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Familiarity with safe patient handling techniques.
- Ability to lead and supervise support staff appropriately.
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Less than 1 year of relevant experience is required.
- Current license as a Physical Therapist upon hire is necessary.
- Basic Life Support certification must be obtained upon hire.
- A valid driver's license in the state of residence is required.
