SUMMARY
Responsible to perform field promotional work to sell and develop new business accounts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Identify and target interest in new product lines in conjunction with sales team leader.
Establish territories and industries where our product lines are accepted.
Demonstrate products/services and provide assistance in the best application of the product.
May coordinate company technical engineering services to determine customers' needs.
Subject to company approval, quote prices, terms of sale, delivery dates, etc.
Investigate product/service warranty claims and ensure timely resolution of customer complaints.
As required, inform the company relative to marketing trends, competitive products and pricing.
Follow company travel and entertainment policies.
Complete required activity and expense reports.
Participate in trade shows.
Maintain an accurate database on sales territories, customer contacts and end users as to potential product demand.
Travel with and assist in training of inside sales representatives where required.
Identify and evaluate independent sales representatives.
Assist in the creation and delivery of company presentations.
Attend and participate in sales meetings when necessary.
Use personal computer, data entry terminal, fax machine , other usual office equipment including digital scanners.
Prepare and submit reports, documents and records required by company policy.
Utilize individually and/or further the use of total quality concepts, tools and techniques to support continuous quality improvement in all processes in which the position participates with a positive "Can Do" attitude.
Observe all company policies and regulations including safety, housekeeping, confidentiality of information, and quality of work with support of ISO procedures and standards.
Perform other duties as requested or necessary to meet business conditions and changes.
Support, encourage and maintain a positive team working atmosphere throughout the company.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a passport for travel.
Must have the ability to be available on weekends and nights due to travel schedules.
Must be able to utilize Microsoft software products such as Word and Excel.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE -
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS -
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS -
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
