Boiler Operator

Job Summary
The Boiler Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of boiler systems within our facility. This role requires a keen understanding of mechanical systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and a customer service-oriented mindset.

Duties

• Operate and monitor boiler systems to ensure they function efficiently and safely.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on boilers and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, maintenance activities, and safety checks.
• Collaborate with HVAC/R technicians to support overall facility operations.
• Interpret schematics and technical manuals to assist in repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to boiler operations.
• Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in HVAC/R systems.
• Proficiency in hydraulics and understanding of industrial mechanics.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
• Experience in field service operations related to boiler systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on maintaining operational efficiency.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with other team members.
• Commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 45 per week
