Requirements

What You Must Do To Be Successful In This Position:

• Within one month determines the necessary tasks to deploy a component onto the Salesforce Appexchange and technical architecture to complete the build of the component in 2 months
• Within three months solutions team has launched Penrod’s NPI search component onto the Salesforce Appexchange
• Within six months solutions team has identified and launched an additional component onto the Salesforce Appexchange
• Within two months developed architecture for the first IP solution
• Complete architecture for three IP solutions within the first six months
• Be the technical expert on all aspects of the Salesforce platform
• Provide leadership to achieve specific technical objectives for solutions team
• Design elegant and scalable solutions, including custom code solutions within the HLS industry
• Design, develop, and document solutions to meet technical requirements
• Conduct technical process/solution reviews, design sessions, and other architecture meetings within solutions team
• Drive technical requirements gathering during backlog grooming
• Support the solutions team in executing technical design and customizing the platform
• Provide subject matter expertise to internal teams during sales and solutions processes
• Stay up to date on new Salesforce features/releases/products
• Own the design and development of large-scale solutions in Visualforce, Apex, D/HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and other technologies
• Own the design and specification of platform build of large-scale solutions
• Delegate platform and development work to other team members as needed in coordination with Project Owners
• Oversee that the build is done to according to standards
• Mentors platform and technical consultants, contributing towards their growth both technically and professionally
• NOTE: Based on the nature of our clients, and our contracts with them, certain vaccinations may be required

What Skills & Experience We’d Like You To Have:

• 3 years of experience in Salesforce consulting
• Salesforce Certified Architect (Systems or Application)
• 2 year job experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect with experience on both the Platform & Development in the Platform
• Professional experience in a test-driven and formal QA development environment
• Experience in practicing agile methodologies, including scrum
• Must be self-directed and thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial culture
• Effectively collaborates with business consultants, project team and solution resources to determine technical and functional requirements
• Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript (including Javascript libraries such as jQuery, VUE and React)
• Knowledge of object-oriented concepts and development experience with design patterns including MVC and/or MVC framework (ex. Django, Maven)
• Prior work with OO languages (Java, Ruby, C#, C , etc)
• A wide degree of flexibility and latitude is expected
• Extremely detail oriented
• Patience and understanding
• Ability to handle stress and last-minute, urgent requests

Work Perks

Hiring On-Target Earnings (OTE) Salary Range up to $180,000 annually comprised of base salary and bonus. Base salary and whole compensation package to be determined by the candidate’s level, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and alignment with market data.
