Abeka Production Artist
The Production Artist 1 is responsible for the layout and daily production of simple items such as video manuals, curriculums, quiz and test books, etc. The Artist also effectively communicates with editors regarding projects and executes established designs.
Follow Design Templates
Complete the layout and production of simple items such as video manuals, curriculums, quiz and test books, etc. Ensure that the correct templates are used and all design specifications are followed.
Use Effective Styles
Maintain an updated knowledge of paragraph, character, glyph, and object styles in InDesign. Know and utilize the best ways to format text, asking for clarification if needed.
Communicate on Projects
Communicate with Writer / Editors to verify that jobs are done accurately and without errors. Check to make sure book size, page margins, profiles, and font size are correct for each product.
Execute Established Designs
Work closely with a Designer and Writer / Editor to complete the layout of major textbooks that designers have set up. When working with designers and writer / editors, facilitate solutions that could help designers with projects. Seek to learn from experienced designers.

Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Deadline Management, Stamina to perform typical office functions
