The Senior Executive Assistant, Institutional Development, is responsible for working with the Executive Director of Institutional Development to develop, plan, implement, and evaluate communications with various fundraising boards and community partners interacting with the College Foundation. This position performs administrative and complex secretarial duties with considerable responsibility for managing and coordinating office operations and procedures. Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong focus on customer service. May require occasional travel to assist the supervisor. Requires considerable latitude for exercising judgment and discretion concerning highly confidential matters. The Senior Executive Assistant, Institutional Development position serves as the liaison for scheduling meetings between Foundation boards and the community. Shares information on upcoming Foundation meetings and events and assists in the development of print materials to reflect accurate and up-to-date information. Prepares profiles and packets for major donor interactions. This position reports to the Executive Director of Institutional Development.
SALARY RANGE: $39,500.00 - $44,500.00
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate’s degree or appropriate work experience on a year-to-year basis may be substituted for the College degree requirement, two years of responsible office administration experience, and demonstrated computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite in a networked office setting, and internet navigation. College coursework beyond the associate’s degree or its equivalent work may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required experience. Appropriate work experience on a year-to-year basis may be substituted for the College degree requirement. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.
Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of
- 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.
