Summary:
The Manager, Human Resources is responsible for guiding and managing the overall provision of H.R. services, policies, and programs for the entire organization. This role is expected to provide strategic and tactical leadership in respective areas of responsibility, as well as leading the organizational culture. Major areas of responsibility include: Employee Relations, Safety & Security, Staffing, Administration, and Compliance. To be successful in this role, an individual must be highly adaptable and responsive to a number of shifting priorities.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assisting HR Director in management of related job functions, listed below but not limited to the following:
- Serving as a tactical partner to Leadership in matters regarding staffing, personnel and client engagement
- Developing and administering programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the goals of the organization
- Leading a company culture of quality, continuous improvement, and high performance
- Managing recruitment and retention efforts for various office and skilled labor positions, at a pace of filling 200-300 open position requisitions on an annual basis
- Oversight of payroll and benefits administration, ensuring advisors are acting in a cost conscientious manner that is in line with the strategic vision of the organization
- Responsible for risk, safety and claims reporting and monitoring. Emphasis on creating and maintaining safe and productive work environments for all Team Members, while also limiting claims
- Managing corporate office security team responsible for securing 30MM worth of client assets
- Creating and leading a training platform to administer safety, regulatory or developmental training
- Oversight of employee relations efforts, operating with a high level of integrity and transparency, while guiding sensitive employee relations issues to limit legal exposure and promote tenants of company culture
- Conducting workplace investigations when complaints, concerns, or incidents occur
- Developing and enforcing policy which promotes positive employee relations and safety, while also ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulatory agencies
- Monitoring and reporting of data required for compliance with all state and federal regulatory agencies
- Leading ad hoc projects from inception through execution as required by the business
- Willingness to travel, 10%
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR generalist experience
- Demonstrated ability to provide company leadership and direction to help influence the success of the business
