At Pentastar Aviation, LLC., we are seeking a highly skilled Air Transportation Estimator to join our team. As an estimator for our maintenance services, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive estimates for aircraft maintenance and avionics work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and review detailed estimates for maintenance and avionics services, including labor, materials, and outside services required.
- Consult with colleagues, customers, and vendors to evaluate job requirements and determine the most efficient solutions.
- C coordinate with sales staff and customer liaison on scheduling, additional work requests, and technical issues to ensure customer needs are met.
- Gain internal approval on quotations and work orders, and coordinate delivery with salespeople.
- Create work orders in the job cost system and request major parts and equipment specific to the job.
- Develop forecasts and cost projections for account managers as needed.
- Take a leadership role in facilitating changes in the maintenance department, leading projects with defined targets and specific timelines.
