What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Nutrition Dietitian- FULL TIME position at Pentec Health?
The Nutrition Counseling Dietitian will be responsible for provision of diagnosis-specific Nutrition education and counseling. This role will provide initial and ongoing education as needed. In addition, this role will provide patient/caregiver education and training where applicable and serve as nutrition subject matter expert.

- This is a remote role, however you must be located in Pennsylvania. This is a full time role.
- Completes the Start of Care and follow-up education for home nutrition counseling patients via Video or Telephone.
- Demonstrates knowledge of diagnosis-specific nutrition therapy and counseling and operates as a subject matter expert to the sales, intake and clinical team
- Performs duties as assigned in a timely, efficient, competent manner, including timely completion of documentation and communication to internal and external customers.
- Creates and provides education to the employees to keep them abreast of new information in nutrition therapies. Creates/reviews documents that will be used for customer education. Participates in quality management meetings and quality management initiatives
- Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
- Registered Dietitian with at least two years of experience.
- Experience in counseling patients in weight loss, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, PCOS, eating disorders, wound healing, renal and GI issue.
- Participation in CAQH; Must maintain credentialing with identified commercial insurance plans and Medicaid/Medicare.
- Able to work autonomously and make independent decisions within generally accepted medical practices, regulations and guidelines.
