This position is primarily responsible for advancing and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, including the management and maintenance of network, storage, and computing systems. The role requires a hands-on approach, with the expectation that the individual will actively participate in physical and technical tasks such as racking and configuring hardware, upgrading systems, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
In addition to technical responsibilities, this position oversees administrative functions related to infrastructure support, including managing maintenance and support contracts, handling subscription renewals, and negotiating pricing with vendors. The role also includes governance duties, such as performing recurring technology security audits in accordance with the organization’s security policies.
Essential Job Duties:
- Leadership: Lead and mentor a team while driving the design and execution of infrastructure strategies that align with and support business growth and initiatives. Oversee the administration and execution of the internal IT Security Audit Plan, ensuring timely remediation and thorough documented evidence. Provide technical leadership on security best practices to both internal IT teams and external contractors.
- Security & Compliance Management: Monitor systems, applications, and networks for vulnerabilities using security tools, and lead efforts to patch security gaps across operating systems, software, hardware, and infrastructure. Oversee cybersecurity controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Collaborate with IT and Legal/Compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements and align risk mitigation efforts. Manage facility security systems, including cameras, access control, and alarms.
- Risk Mitigation: Create, maintain, and execute a multi-year, risk-based security roadmap aligned with a Defense-in-Depth approach. Design, implement, upgrade, and sustain comprehensive, layered security systems across both enterprise-wide and system-specific environments. Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities for improvement through innovative technologies. Create and maintain technical documentation, IT policies, and procedures in alignment with regulatory frameworks to ensure consistent, reliable service delivery.
- Project Management: Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of physical servers. Ensure the efficient operation of data center functions, including data storage, backups, and replication. Manage the network and power systems within server environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive strategic technological innovation, demonstrating a breadth and depth of knowledge in all things related to the complex operations of compute, storage, networking, and identity management. Plan and support IT infrastructure needs for new facilities and expansions. Conduct routine security testing, monitoring, and coordinate penetration testing efforts.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field (Masters preferred).
- 10 years of IT work experience in product engineering, development, and support functions.
- 5 years of experience in technical operations leadership, infrastructure management, or a similar role.
- 4 years of hands-on technical experience with Microsoft 365 enterprise-level services including Teams, OneDrive for Business, Exchange Online, Entra ID, SharePoint Online & O365 Administration in implementation and operations.
- Experience/Knowledge of the following IT Solutions vendors: FortiNet, Cisco, SentinelOne, Rapid7, Zscaler, Citrix, Pure Storage, VMWare, Veeam, Verkada, RingCentral.
- Proactive, strategic approach to problem-solving with strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work together with a diverse set of internal and external collaborators, including senior leaders, business and functional representatives, and vendors/consulting partners.
- Ability to identify project-impacting issues and work with control owners and various IT solution teams to develop and implement solutions.
Salary Range: $140,000- $150,000 annual
