What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Manager position at Pentec Health?
The Purchasing Manager will perform all aspects of Pentec Healths purchasing and inventory control systems including product procurement, supplier relationship management, inventory management, process improvement and cost control and budget management.

Essential Job Duties:
- Coordinates and participates in the monthly inventory process for all locations and lead the process for the future Arizona pharmacy location. Enters new inventory items, and maintains inventory files in CPR or applicable company dispensing along with necessary systems reports.
- Manage ASP Change update for drugs from CPR to identify changes in pricing that impact revenue.
- Under the direction of the Director of Purchasing performs the purchasing/receiving of medications, supplies, and equipment as well as follow up calls to retrieve pumps from Dialysis Centers.
- Ensures that completed purchase orders are reviewed/approved with corresponding documentation prior to submittal to Accounts Payable. Work closely with Accounts Payable to ensure vendor payments are appropriate and timely.
- Assist Director of Purchasing with day to day purchasing needs & requests. Ensures the accurate maintenance of all materials management records, including purchase orders, invoices, packing slips, equipment rentals, pump tracking, and courier records
- Implement procedural changes, new methods or automated systems as appropriate, in order to increase efficiency and cost effectiveness of the purchasing process.
- Ensures adequate levels of all medications/supplies on a daily basis, develop documents and spreadsheets as required, maintain database and spreadsheets as required, and maintain and keep up to date contracts information.
- Maintain Safety Data Sheet documentation, assist in reviewing departmental documentation, and participate in intra-departmental meetings and quality assurance activities as required.
- Compile and prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports relating to purchasing. Maintain vendor Quarterly Business Review schedules. Prepare pricing and service comparisons between vendors. Implement new vendors/products with Pharmacy Department as required

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- High School diploma or equivalent with three plus years of experience in a purchasing position demonstrating increased responsibilities.
- Purchasing experience in the Healthcare/Home Infusion/HME/DME, or Specialty Pharmacy industry.
- Knowledgeable of Pharmacy/Home Infusion software (CPR preferred), travel and expense software (SAP/Concur preferred), A/P Automation software (Coupa preferred), and Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in logistics with supply chain knowledge and proven inventory and vendor management abilities preferred.
- Great communicator and self-starter with attention to detail, negotiation, decision making, teamwork and collaboration skills.

Salary Range: ?$70,000-$80,000 Annual
