YOUTHBUILD NEW BEDFORD PROGRAM - CASE MANAGER
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and skills:
•High School Diploma; Post-Secondary Degree preferred
•Experience working with youth ages 16 – 24 years of age
•Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
•Ability to teach coursework in a dynamic, thought-provoking fashion
•Experience in crisis intervention and support
•Must be able to pass a background check.
The YouthBuild Case Manager works to develop supportive and professional relationships with our YouthBuild New Bedford members. Case Manager provides workshops to develop work maturity skills to prepare our young people for the world of work. Must have the ability to teach coursework in a dynamic, thought-provoking fashion. Develops and maintains Individual Development (IDP) for each member. Develops relationships with members, including an understanding of their outside support system and identify resources for their success. Provide immediate crisis intervention and support. Works in collaboration with the YouthBuild team to ensure success while in the program and for a year of intense follow-up after graduation. Responsible for connecting with existing partners, a well as establishing new partnerships. Must have the ability to engage youth in a positive manner and role model to youth through attitude, behavior, language and dress.

SALARY: $19 - $21/hour, 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
