We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at People Architects. As a key member of our financial operations department, you will be responsible for managing the daily, monthly, and annual accounting functions across our school network.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements with variance analysis.
- Budgeting and Compliance: Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules, ensuring accurate classification of transactions across entities.
- Reporting and Analysis: Analyze financial data to support decision-making, reconcile accounts receivable, and review for collectability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
- Experience: CPA with 3 years of experience OR Non-CPA with 5-7 years of related accounting experience.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting practices, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
