People Architects is excited to partner with a precision machining services manufacturing plant based in Solon, Ohio. We are seeking a highly experienced Large Part CNC Machinist. The plant is a well-established contract machine shop founded in 1945. Their business specializes in the production of high-quality, low-volume precision components.
We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists with experience in Fanuc control and a solid understanding of modern CNC turning centers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the setup and operation of 2 to 5-axis turning machines and 3 to 5-axis machining centers. Knowledge of tooling and basic program troubleshooting is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC turning machines and machining centers.
- Ensure proper tooling configuration and machine settings.
- Troubleshoot basic machining issues during operation.
- Work on producing large, high-value, low-volume precision components (1 to 10 pieces).
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC machine setup and operation.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting drawings.
- Strong knowledge of tooling and offsets.
- Ability to follow written instructions and procedures.
- Solid problem-solving and math skills.
- Own tools required.
