What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist position at Minute Men Staffing?
Minutemen Direct has direct hire openings for CNC Machinist on 1st, 2nd, and weekend shifts. Must be able to run large machining centers either VTL or HBM, edit and maintain CNC programs and perform machine setup and operation. Pay is starting at $30 per hour and goes up BOE. Monday-Thursday schedule.
1st shift -Hours 5:00AM-3:30PM
2nd shift -Hours 3:30PM-2:00AM
Weekend - Hours 6AM-6:00PM (FRI, SAT,SUN)
Summary of role:
Review engineering prints, select and acquire appropriate tooling.
Edit and maintain CNC programs.
Perform machine setup and operation.
Implement continuous improvement.
Inspection and measurement of machined components.
Train and develop less experienced machinists.
Requirements
A minimum of 3-5 years experience in component CNC machining. (Prefer 10 years)
Dealt with lower run quantities per part.
Ability to interpret blueprint/drawing specifications and GD&T.
Applied experience with various inspection methods (hand gages, CMM, etc.)
Proven ability to develop the machining skills of others.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Fanuc, Siemens, G code programming.
Overhead crane operation and rigging experience
Basic computer skills for email, web-based communication
