Job Description
- Manage commercial and multifamily construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
- Review and analyze real estate development plans, designs, blueprints, specifications, and bid scopes.
- Oversee the bidding process, including material and subcontractor price evaluations and negotiations.
- Prepare and manage essential construction documents such as budgets, estimates, contracts, schedules, and change orders.
- Coordinate projects to maximize cost efficiency and implement value engineering strategies.
- Lead the development of project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Serve as the primary company liaison, building strong relationships with stakeholders (architects, engineers, suppliers, subcontractors).
- Collaborate with accounting to track project expenditures and monitor financial performance.
- Manage billings, including AIA documents and change orders, ensuring timely submissions.
- Oversee the Civil/Sitework division, assist with project management, estimating, and help streamline project workflows.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
- 5 years in multifamily/commercial construction project management.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Experience with sitework and utility construction is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for site visits.
