Position: Mitigation Supervisor
Location: New Hampton, NY
Duration: Full-Time
Job Summary:
The Mitigation Supervisor will manage field technicians across multiple job sites, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available for mitigation projects, while working directly with property owners and insured clients to prevent further damage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee mitigation projects related to fire, water, and environmental damage.
- Ensure proper documentation for each project (e.g., Work Authorizations, Wet Logs).
- Conduct moisture mapping, establish project scopes, and monitor drying protocols.
- Perform controlled demolition and emergency cleaning/sanitization.
- Capture loss data using 3D imaging tools (Matterport/Docusketch).
- Manage, pack, and move clients’ personal property.
- Engage in sales activities such as client follow-ups and securing referrals.
- Place yard signage and maintain positive client interactions.
- Manage fleet vehicle and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with ANSI/IICRC Standards for Water Damage Restoration.
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership skills and experience in mitigation, restoration, or construction.
- Certifications such as WRT, ASD, EPA Lead Renovator preferred.
- Strong customer service, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in high places, and in PPE.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, valid driver’s license.
- Must pass background check and be available for after-hours/weekend work.
