Accounting Specialist

People Creating Success, Inc. (PCS) is a leading provider of Supported Living Services, Independent Living Services, and Day Services for adults with developmental disabilities. We are headquartered in Ventura County and serve individuals throughout the state of California.
Job Duties:
- Work with accounts payable and receivable
- Generate monthly review report
- Assist with payroll setup and processing
- Prepare and make bank deposits
- Evaluate compliance with internal accounting procedures
- Maintain accurate records
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- BA or BS in a related field preferred
- At least one year of accounting experience
- Experience with QuickBooks (1 year preferred)
- Knowledge of ADP and/or Excel is a plus
- Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check
