What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Call Center Representative position at People First Federal Credit Union?
This is a non-remote position based in the Allentown, PA area.
The selected individual will provide exceptional member service by assisting new and existing members with information about their membership, shares, loans, and credit union services via phone, digital channels, video, or in person. They will actively listen to, troubleshoot, resolve, or escalate member issues to the appropriate department, as well as complete banking transactions and cross-sell products, services, and special promotions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver an exceptional member experience through active listening and recommendation of financial solutions that support members' goals. Maintain current knowledge of all credit union services, policies, and promotions.
- Assist members with processing transactions, troubleshooting, resolving or escalating problems, inquiries, or complaints. Provide information on all credit union accounts, products, services, and payments. Complete maintenance on accounts and open new accounts, products, and services.
- Cross-sell credit union services.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks including keyboarding, filing, computer input, and answering the phone.
- Perform Teller/Member Solutions Associate/Universal Virtual Teller duties/responsibilities when needed.

Hours:
- Monday through Thursday 8:45am to 5:30pm. Friday's: 8:45am to 5:30pm or 9:15 am to 6pm.
- Saturday's 9:00am to 12:00pm (rotation)
Qualifications:
- High School Education or GED.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) skills required.
- One year to three years of similar or related experience.
- Good listening, communication, and computer skills.
- Able to make decisions with minimum information.
- General office equipment such as computers, copiers, and scanners. Includes the ability to learn and adapt to new technology and processes.
- Maintains confidentiality related to credit union operations and work-related information.

This position offers a competitive hourly wage between $21.22 and $22.72.
