People, Incorporated is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Full Time Program Director for our Day Habilitation Program leads the Day Habilitation Program team to ensure all program objectives are met.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee scheduling and provision of day habilitation program services.
- Recommend hiring of, provide ongoing supervision to, and complete annual evaluation for assigned staff.
- Ensure all staff members adhere to program and Agency policies.
- Oversee the submission of service plan documentation to Optum.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Review and sign all service needs assessments and day habilitation service plans.
- Ensure proper staffing ratios are maintained
- Participate in supervision meetings with Division Director.
- Ensure individuals case records are complete and up to date
- Assist in the development of the annual program budget and participate in monthly budget reviews with supervisor.
- Monitor weekly attendance.
- Review, follow up, and make recommendations on all referrals.
- Submit all invoices, receipts, and mileage to the fiscal department in a timely manner.
- Review staff attendance bi-weekly.
- Schedule therapy consultant staff to ensure therapy evaluations are up to date.
- Oversee the upkeep of the building and property to ensure they are properly maintained.
- Approve the purchase of supplies and program activities.
- Oversee the development of program service schedules to ensure excellence and quality services.
- Promote and embody the Agencys mission statement and core values.
- Ensure implementation of Positive Behavior Support in all aspects of the service.
- Ensure that CARF standards are met, completing quarterly management reports and emergency drills.
- Ensure MassHealth regulations are followed while keeping abreast of updates by attending MassHealth and Day Hab Coalition monthly meetings.
QUALIFICATION
- Knowledge obtained through attainment of bachelors degree from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge and skill obtained through at least five years of professional healthcare experience, which includes clinical experience and at least two years in a program serving individuals with developmental disabilities. At least one year of this past experience must have been spent in an administrative role.
- Skill in leading and communicating with others.
- Ability to proactively participate in program planning and administration.
- A qualifying criminal background check, driving record, and a valid drivers license preferred.
- Ability to provide TB assessments and any required follow up documentation, if applicable, every two years.
