Position Summary
Peoplease is seeking a qualified Pricing Analyst to join our dynamic team. The purpose of the Pricing Department is to build, organize, and oversee the client pricing process. This position will play a critical role in client pricing, reductions, and analysis to provide insights to leadership while maintaining profitability. An ideal candidate will have the ability to execute multiple projects within required timeframes and expectations; demonstrated excellence in communication skills; be able to inform both orally and in writing; working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Demonstrate the ability to perform detail-oriented tasks; interact, coordinate, follow up, and effectively communicate with Finance team members, regional teams, Senior Management, and Third-Party Administrators.
Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to function as a remote employee in a distributed work team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Support the decision-making process by delivering accurate and timely data, analysis, and recommendations through profitable pricing for growth strategies
- Support Director to compile and communicate variance drivers to regional leadership for client financials & growth through additional business and auxiliary service pricing
- Collaborate with Accounting on the month-end close process and related analysis
- Assist with ad hoc projects, responsibilities, and duties assigned while maintaining the security and confidentiality of pertinent information
- Compile price change information, summarize and provide insight on recommendations for client re-pricing actions
- Assist with data analysis and evaluation to provide feedback to sales colleagues/ management on target pricing as needed
- Compile dashboard reporting on pricing trends, KPIs, and metrics on closed and lost deals
- Assist in proactively identifying and resolving data discrepancies, including assisting colleagues with resolving discrepancies and communicating to other stakeholders as necessary
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Grad Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience with accounting and financial analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office and other analytical software is required
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in insurance or other risk-based industries is considered a plus
- Demonstrate logical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, evaluate and interpret information
- Works independently and in a remote team environment with minimal supervision
Preferred:
- Experience with Client Space and PrismHR
- Experience in PEO space or workers compensation insurance is highly desired.
