Seasonal Audit Contractor – Senior Associate Level
- Pay Range: $55–$70/hour W2 (Overtime paid at 1.5x)
- Location: Fully Remote (may ask about in-office ability)
- Contract Duration: January (early or late) – end of April 2025 (Busy Season)
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with private and public companies to understand their businesses, assess risks, and focus efforts where they matter most.
- Enhance clients' financial reporting processes and provide insights to help them better understand their operations.
- Keep clients informed about accounting, financial, and regulatory developments impacting their businesses.
- Manage audit engagements from planning to completion, including budget oversight.
- Supervise, train, and mentor audit associates and interns, performing in-charge duties as needed.
- Identify and resolve client issues with the audit team.
- Conduct research and analysis of financial statements and audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related discipline.
- CPA license (preferred) or actively pursuing CPA certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive public accounting experience, including in-charge auditing.
- Proficiency in US GAAP and GAAS, with strong technical accounting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional client service, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and audit software.
