Contract Opportunity: Tax Partnership - Senior Associate
- Start Date: January 21, 2025
- End Date: April 15, 2025 (extensions possible)
- Compensation: $55–$70 per hour (W2); 1099/Corp-to-Corp rates available upon request
- Location: Remote, EST working hours
About The Role
As a Tax Partnership - Senior Associate, you’ll take on complex tax compliance and consulting projects for partnerships, S corporations, individuals, and trusts. You’ll collaborate with a skilled team to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions using advanced tools and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Support client service teams to plan, execute, and complete tax projects across various industries.
- Deliver tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to meet project deadlines and expectations.
- Supervise, train, and mentor staff on assigned tax projects.
- Research and address complex tax matters; prepare returns and respond to IRS inquiries.
- Maintain strong client communication to ensure deadlines and project goals are met.
- Candidates with insurance tax expertise are highly valued. However, we also welcome those with broader partnership experience for flexibility across additional engagements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA preferred.
- 2–6 years of progressive tax compliance and/or consulting experience (public accounting or a mix of public and industry experience).
- Proficiency in US GAAP, tax compliance, partnership, S corporation, individual, and trust returns.
- Experience with high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, private companies, and family offices.
- Exposure to Financial Services, including Asset Management, Fund to Fund, and Hedge Funds.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
