Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction

About the Role

Join our growing construction team as an Assistant Project Manager and launch your career to the next level. In this dynamic role, you'll work alongside experienced Project Managers to deliver successful construction projects while developing essential leadership skills and industry expertise.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Project Managers to drive project success through effective contract administration, change order management, and submittal processing
  • Support project financial planning by helping determine resource needs and allocation for people, equipment, and materials
  • Participate in preconstruction services, including cost analysis and reporting
  • Take ownership of complex trade coordination and documentation
  • Engage in project planning meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions with stakeholders
  • Help maintain project schedules and ensure timely completion of deliverables
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 3 years of construction project experience
  • Strong proficiency with construction technology and software including:
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Bluebeam
    • OnScreen Takeoff
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
