SUMMARY : Overnights
Pay : $55,000-$65,000 salary
This position is responsible for the safety and productivity of assigned production employees staffed on designated shift. Additionally, the Shift Supervisor position is accountable for ensuring that production scheduled for completion is executed in a timely manner and within all quality parameters
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintain raw inbound inventory and pit levels
2. Ensure proper formulation of product
3. Maintain finished good levels for loadout
4. Adhere to sanitation standards
5. Training of plant associates
6. Enforcement of safety and processing procedures
7. Execute quality control measures
8. Compare analytics to specification on finished product
9. Review and approve Certificate of Analysis
10. Perform preventative maintenance of plant equipment
11. Prepare work orders
12. Prepare daily shift reports
13. Coaching associates or assisting in coaching
14. Investigate and report all accidents / incidents
15. Propose and implement cost saving ideas
16. Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Three (3) years of experience in Manufacturing facility preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
- Knowledge of product / customer specifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with other personnel
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Must follow all safety requirements
