Order Picker - Shipping

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a premier employer located in Goshen, Indiana is seeking a qualified order picker for their shipping department. This client is a custom manufacturer of thermoplastic hose and tubing products for the RV industry.

Order Picker Job Summary:

• Pay: $17/hr
• 6am - 4:30pm Monday – Thursday overtime on Fridays and Saturdays as needed.
• Assist the shipping department by collecting finished goods from the assembly cells and transporting them to the shipping area Stages items correctly for delivery
• Operates handling equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed
• Uses an order picker cart to pull orders from production cells and transports to the shipping staging area
• Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
• Collect all materials, transport and equipment needed to begin the process
• Check output to ensure the highest quality
• Maintaining a clean workstation
• Customer communication when and where needed
• Keep records of production quantities
• Report on issues to the supervisor on duty
• Performing other tasks as assigned

Order Picker Qualifications:

• Outstanding organizational skills
• Accurate record keeping
• Able to operate a forklift as needed
• Basic Math skills
• Previous factory experience is beneficial
• Good communication skills
• Physical dexterity
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to learn and work as a team.
