Job Responsibilities:
As a Local Class A Yard Hostler, your responsibilities will include operating a 53-yard goat safely and efficiently, hauling general freight, conducting pre-and post-trip inspections, keeping equipment clean and well-maintained, verifying paperwork, and adhering to a Monday through Friday schedule with an 8:00 PM start time. You will work closely with our team to ensure the smooth operation of our trucks and the safety of our drivers.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must have at least one year of Class A driving experience, a valid Class A License, and a Medical Card. Endorsements are not required, but they are highly recommended. You must also pass a drug screen and have a clean driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions within the last five years. Furthermore, you should have no more than two moving violations in the past three years or one moving violation and one accident in the same timeframe. You must be at least 22 years old to qualify for this position.
