Note : The hourly rate for this position is $24 - $26 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities :

Responsible for ensuring all deliveries are loaded properly and shipped in a timely manner to meet the project demands per daily production schedule

Create accurate Bill of Lading for all loads to outside vendors and jobsites for Rowley location

Coordinate with Purchasing to fulfill shop orders to meet required date on site

Coordinate sequence of shipping itinerary and special delivery criteria with assigned CIC Project Manager

Coordinate trucking manpower (CIC and outside Drivers) on all deliveries while adhering to DOT code requirements and restrictions

Knowledge road trucking codes and restrictions of New England states and New York

Track location of all CIC owned and leased trailers, ensure annual inspections are current

Secure trucking permits for over-sized load as required

Maintain organized, clean and safe workspace

Qualifications :

Ability to safely operate forklift, pallet jack and two-wheel hand cart

Able to read erection, shop detail drawings and Bill of Material

Highly organized with solid critical thinking skills

Able to consider situation and make swift decisions with low consequence

Excellent communication skills, able to work with others in a fast-paced production focused environment

Comfortable with using technology in a paperless environment, including the use of administrative and production related software programs

Quality and safety minded

Five plus years in logistical shipping coordination

Prior experience in steel fabrication operation preferred

Current / Active Drivers License

OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 Certification

Bachelors degree in a technical field preferred

Experience in the construction industry and / or coordination of safety programs with positive results

Demonstrated proficiency using MS Office

Demonstrated experience in applied problem-solving tools

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Willingness and desire to learn and grow

Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

Prior experience in the industrial field required

Prior experience using MS Office required
