Job Title: Administrative Assistant - PC Kids Department
Location: Peoples Church
Position Summary:
We are seeking an organized, professional, and energetic Administrative Assistant to join the PC Kids team at Peoples Church. The ideal candidate is a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for serving others. In this role, the Administrative Assistant will provide key support to the PC Kids staff team and all visitors, handling office tasks and providing timely assistance through phone, email, and in-person interactions. This individual should be highly comfortable with computers and office procedures, while demonstrating exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communication: Handling emails, phone calls, scheduling meetings, and providing support to visitors.
- Accounting: Prepare reports, expense reconciliation, managing purchasing and spending.
- Curriculum Preparation: Assist with curriculum creation for PC Kids programs and manage preparation.
- Supply Management: Manage inventory, order supplies, handle returns, and fulfill supply requests.
- Event Setup and Tear Down: Assist in organizing and preparing for children’s events.
- Operational Support: Provide administrative support, including filing, report generation, presentation preparation, and event management and setup.
- Software Management: Manage Planning Center Online for event bookings, service schedules, and task assignments.
- Data Entry: Enter data into Arena, Excel, Planning Center Online, and other software. Track attendance and generate reports.
- Social Media Management: Manage PC Kids social media accounts, manage messages, create content, and schedule posts.
- Event and Volunteer Support: Plan events, manage communications, help with volunteer appreciation, recruitment, and training.
- Facility Management: Oversee cleanliness, organization, and supply management within the PC Kids building. Prepare facilities to prepare for all weekly programming.
- Other Duties as Assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have a strong and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, demonstrating Christian values in both personal and professional life.
- Must align with and uphold the church’s mission statement, values, and faith beliefs.
- Experience using Planning Center Online, Microsoft Suite, Canva, Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant software.
- Strong communication and management skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
