Credit Analyst Winchester Kentucky (Onsite Position)
The Credit Analyst position is to limit the bank's credit and repayment risk thru measuring and analyzing cash flow for new, renewal and portfolio loan requests. Keeping management informed of deteriorating financial profits of borrowers and / or lenders practices, financial trends, and compliance problems. Managing the credit risk profiles for the entire organization. This position works closely with lenders by analyzing financial data and communicate financial facts, interpretations, and projections verbally and in writing. Evaluates loans for credit risk according to predetermined factors, such as geographical location, type, and amount of loan; records data on work sheet, including purpose of loan, balance, and repayment terms; assigns risk rating, indicating borrower's financial strength and probability of loan repayment.
A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and / or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Strong communication skills is preferred.
Experience in all aspects of lending including real estate, commercial, and consumer. Capable of operating Excel spreadsheets and word processing programs. Understanding of financial software and report writing. Understanding of types of nature of financial statements, corporate and personal tax returns, corporate structure, and contingent liabilities.
