Job Skills / Requirements
Role:
To be responsible for the service, including computer input and update of personal lines accounts, and to provide prompt, accurate and courteous service to insureds, sales representatives and insurance companies regarding those accounts. Experience with Home, Auto and Commercial Insurance a plus.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
To review and prioritize all insureds' requests for service and to submit by priority this information to insurance companies the day the request is received.
To review and order all necessary renewals no later than 60 days prior to expiration, with "agency issued" renewals sent to the customer at least 30 days prior to expiration, and to check accuracy and completeness of all premium transactions issued by insurance companies before invoicing and distribution.
To follow all agency systems, procedures and insurance company regulations.
To review all incoming mail the day the mail is received and process accordingly, and to process all monied transactions the day they are received.
To collect premiums from policyholders.
To perform and meet timeframe for special requests and projects at management's request, and to follow up on all insurance company suspense according to agency's guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
