What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water Treatment Operations Specialist position at PeopleService, Inc.?
At PeopleService, Inc., we provide essential contract-operations to Worth County, Nora Springs, and surrounding communities. As a maintenance technician or certified water/wastewater operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of quality services to our clients.
The starting wage is competitive and based on certification and experience. To be successful in this position, you will require:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Post-High School education in water/wastewater (helpful but not required)
- Iowa Water and/or Wastewater certification (a plus)
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong mechanical skills to repair water/wastewater equipment
- Ability to live within a 10-30 minute response time
- Capacity to work independently with minimal onsite supervision
- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
