About Peopleshare Inc:
We are seeking a skilled individual to be an integral part of our organization dedicated to maintaining top-notch facilities.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance, renovations, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform skilled and semi-skilled building maintenance and repairs, encompassing carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and grounds keeping.
- Collaborate with the facilities maintenance team for skill-building and continuous improvement.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, including serving on improvement teams and contributing to program evaluations.
- Maintain and repair plumbing, electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with building codes.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Manage maintenance of boilers, hot water heaters, and furnaces.
- Assist in snow and ice removal when required.
- Conduct inspections of agency vehicles.
- Make recommendations on the effective use, repair, purchase, or care of the physical plant.
- Estimate and submit lists of necessary materials when not readily available.
Requirements:
- High school diploma plus 3 to 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of standard tools, materials, and methods involved in maintenance and repair, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal codes, including BOCA, OSHA, and NFPA.
- Specialized training, license, or experience in a particular trade is preferred.
