JOB OPENING : Facilities Associate I

SALARY : $18 / hr

SCHEDULE : 7a - 3p OT as necessary M-F... Rotating on call where you must be available

LOCATION : Marlton, NJ

ABOUT US : Join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Tech and be an integral part of our organization dedicated to maintaining top-notch facilities. We are seeking a skilled individual with a strong background in building maintenance, renovations, and repairs.

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

Responsibilities :

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled building maintenance and repairs, encompassing carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and grounds keeping.
• Collaborate with the facilities maintenance I position for skill-building and continuous improvement.
• Actively participate in quality improvement activities, including serving on improvement teams and contributing to program evaluations.
• Execute construction, renovations, and rehabilitation projects for agency facilities.
• Maintain and repair plumbing, electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with building codes.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces of agency buildings.
• Manage maintenance of boilers, hot water heaters, and furnaces.
• Assist in snow and ice removal when required.
• Conduct inspections of agency vehicles.
• Make recommendations on the effective use, repair, purchase, or care of the physical plant.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Estimate and submit lists of necessary materials when not readily available.
