Quality Control Lab Technician Job Description:
Assists with research, quantitative and qualitative analysis, synthesis, and experimentation on substances, for such purposes as quality control, product and process development and application.
Perform testing on production batches using the following tests: pH, viscosity, density, solids, titrations, degree Baume.
Manage database for sample, production retains and documentation from production.
Provide support to the manufacturing processes by giving guidance to adjust batch formulations if a batch is not within product specifications.
Perform incoming quality control of raw materials to make sure they are to specification. Accept or reject depending on test results.
Quality Control Lab Technician Job Requirements:

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
