Position Overview:
We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Monroe, NC to assist with warehouse operations. This role will focus on shipping, receiving, and ensuring accurate inventory data. You will work closely with other teams to achieve goals, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load/unload, manage waste, monitor stock, and assist with shipping orders.
- Handle order fulfillment: picking, packing, and shipping to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to 5S standards.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and proper stock rotation.
- Follow procedures and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with teams for smooth operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Shipping & Receiving experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Good time management and communication skills.
- Forklift experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Standing/walking 75% of the time.
- Lifting/carrying up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to bend, climb stairs, and move around the office and plant.
