What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager position at PeopleWare Staffing, Inc.?
Seeking an Accounting Manager to join the team at a Semiconductor company in the Los Angeles area.
Responsibilities Include:
• Responsible for managing one Accounts Payable employee and lead Accounts Payable payment process.
• Perform bi-weekly payroll entries including recording of expenditures and calculation of PTO (Paid Time Off) activity.
• Responsible for fixed asset maintenance and Construct-in-Progress projects follow-up.
• Review monthly and quarterly account reconciliations, as well as maintaining balance sheet and the accuracy of the monthly income statement for all the subsidiaries.
• Responsible for monthly reports, analyzes, and interpret financial and operating data for management.
• Act as liaison between external and internal auditors during the quarter-end and year-end financial audits.
• Assist in the monthly inventory recording and quarterly inventory evaluation including LCM (lower of cost or market) and Slow-Moving activity if needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Accounting or Finance, and at least six years of related working experience.
• Must have at least one year of supervising experience.
• Fluency in Mandarin to be able to prepare for and interpret the quarterly financial reports.
• Computer skills required: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite; Accounting Software

• Detail-oriented and deadline-oriented
• Willingness to work flexible schedule if necessary.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
Must haves:
1) Accounting background
2) Accounts Payable
3) Supervisory
4) Finacial Statement, balance sheets, month end closing experience
5) Fluency in Mandarin
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
